because unconditional love
goes both ways
Biggie’s Bakes started in a home kitchen, with two Bernedoodles sitting very patiently by the oven.
It started with a label he couldn’t read.
Founder Taylan Bozkurt was thoughtful about what he ate, and about what he fed his dogs, but every bag of treats he picked up had an ingredient list full of preservatives, fillers and binding agents he couldn’t pronounce, let alone explain.
So he started making them himself. Simple, human-grade whole foods: sweet potato, blueberries, peanut butter, oats, eggs. Fresh-baked treats for Biggie and Luna, his two Bernedoodles.
Over the years, those kitchen snacks turned into carefully crafted, taste-tested recipes. And somewhere between the smell of the oven and two dogs who knew exactly what it meant, the idea for Biggie’s Bakes took shape: every dog deserves a treat made fresh, with love, at home.
AT THE HEART OF OUR STORY
biggie & luna
Two dogs at the heart of our story. Biggie’s memory lives on through the company that bears his name.
Our namesake and inspiration.
Biggie’s Bakes carries his name and honors his memory. He remains the inspiration behind the company and the care we put into every treat.
Part of the family.
Luna is part of the family behind Biggie’s Bakes. She and Biggie inspired Tay to start making treats in his own kitchen.
Love, health and an oven.
That’s the whole idea.
made with love
A treat you bake is a treat you made for them. Fifteen minutes in your oven turns an everyday snack into a small way of saying I love you back.
better for them
Simple, human-grade whole foods you’d keep in your own kitchen. No preservatives, no fillers, no artificial anything. Gluten-free recipes, every one.
Love is inherent to who you are. At Biggie’s, our goal is simply to give you a new way to act on that love, a better way to show how much you care for your dog. Sharing the experience of baking treats with your dog shows how much you care.

Biggie’s Bakes supports critical canine cancer research and funding
Biggie’s Bakes founder Taylan Bozkurt lost his dog Biggie to canine cancer and founded My Best Friend 143, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, to raise awareness and provide funding for early detection. Inspired by the shorthand “143” for “I love you,” the organization is dedicated to funding critical research to make preventative, life-saving screenings more affordable for every pet parent.
A portion of the proceeds from Biggie’s Bakes is donated to directly support research and awareness initiatives, empowering families to detect cancer before symptoms appear, enabling happy, healthy years together.
