Shipping & storage
How do the treats ship?
How long do they keep?
Three months in the freezer, as long as the bag stays sealed between bakes. Once baked, treats keep three days in an airtight container in the fridge.
What if my order arrives thawed?
If the pucks are still cool to the touch, they’re fine: put them straight into the freezer. If they arrive warm, email us within 48 hours with a photo and we’ll make it right.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship frozen to addresses in the continental US. Richmond-area customers can also find us in stores.
Ingredients & allergies
Aren’t dog treats already healthy?
What does “human-grade” mean?
It means every ingredient is the same quality you’d buy for yourself: the sweet potatoes, blueberries, peanut butter and eggs you’d find at the grocery store, not by-products or meals made for animal feed.
Are the treats gluten-free?
Yes. All three recipes are gluten-free. We use gluten-free rolled oats.
My dog has allergies. What’s in each recipe?
Sweet potato & blueberry contains egg. Peanut butter & banana contains peanut and egg. Tuna parmesan & broccoli contains fish, milk (parmesan) and egg. All three are made in the same kitchen, so if your dog has a serious allergy, check with your vet first.
Is your peanut butter xylitol-free?
Always. Xylitol is toxic to dogs and it never comes into our kitchen. Our peanut butter is just peanuts.
Ordering & delivery
Can I buy Biggie’s in stores?
Yes. In Richmond, VA you’ll find us at Libbie Market (West Hampton), Union Market (Church Hill) and Tuckahoe Seafood.
Do you offer subscriptions?
Not yet, but it’s on the way. Join the pack and you’ll be first to hear when subscribe & save launches.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email us as soon as you can. If your order hasn’t been packed yet, we’ll update or cancel it.
Baking at home
Wait, I have to bake them?
Do I need to thaw them first?
No. Bake them straight from frozen. That’s what the twelve to fifteen minutes is for.
Can I bake just a few at a time?
Yes. Take out as many pucks as you need and put the rest back in the freezer. One biscuit or twelve, same oven time.
Does my dog even care?
Ask them when the timer goes off. Our testers sat by the oven for the full fifteen minutes, and we’ve never once had a biscuit come back.
